I still don't get what fartleks are! So, is this a running workout? Good job, whatever it is!

It says 'running workout', so I guess it must be. Fartlek is just a funny work (Swedish, I think?) for "speed play". For a set period of time, you alternate between speed and rest intervals. Yesterday, for example, I did 2.5 mins at a harder pace (this should not be all out, but you should be pushing yourself) followed by 2.5 mins of recovery.

The run I did today would also be a fartlek: 3 min at a fast pace and 2 min recoveries. I did that 4 times.
