Just a short little run to get some miles in. It's hot out there, but every now and then you come across these pockets of cool air. They're so nice, a little treat from nature.

I punked out on my running partners this morning because I just couldn't lift myself out of my depression to go meet them. Finally worked up the energy this evening.

A short run to keep the streak alive. My stomach's not feeling so great, and I'm exhausted this week. This was really all I could manage.

RUN
good 2.2 mi
I set out planning to do 3 this morning but found that the thought of 2 was much more friendly. In other news, I'm so, so tired of the humidity. Will anything ever be dry again?

No, it never will be. It's the same here in D.C. Ugh!

Short on time, long on rain. Lately it seems like it's either raining or so humid that it might as well be raining.

I hate then even on a day we ran together that you did more miles than me. Booo!!! Ha. Fun times!

For your 100 runs per year challenge, does each run have to be unique, a new route? Or does it just have to be a run?

Darren- it just has to be a run. I had gotten so inconsistent that I just wanted something simple and straightforward I could work toward. So far, it's worked :)

I'm so jealous that you have a variety of routes--I have...my subdivision! (and, I love NYC!). Today I "mixed it up" by running the loop backwards once!

That's a good point, I am very spoiled in that regard. Whining about running along the East River is a little bit silly, isn't it?
