  1. So major bummer, but decided not to do the Minneapolis Half Marathon on June 3. Just too overwhelming with moving, becoming a first-time homeowner, and all that jazz. Anyway, if anyone is intereste... read more

  2. RUN
    7 mi 01:14 10:31 pace

Feeling good after resting a few days (overdid it a bit two runs in a row - oops!) and remembering to slow things down a bit. Struggled a bit running in a straight line, which was no fun for Art un... read more

  3. RUN
    4.5 mi 00:44 09:41 pace

I'm excited to move to Northeast in a few weeks, but I sure will miss the lakes. And the creek.

  4. RUN
    blah 3.1 mi 00:28 08:57 pace

Art wanted to do a fast 5k. He could have gone faster; I wanted to die. And definitely used some salty language when he yelled "You can do it!" at me near the end. I prefer my long, slow ... read more

  5. RUN
    good 4 mi 00:41 10:16 pace

Skipped a run earlier this week with flu-like symptoms, but I'm back on it!

  6. RUN
    6 mi 01:03 10:34 pace

    Got it done.

  7. walk
    4.5 mi 01:24 18:40 pace

Walked from our apartment to Target Field for the game... probably worth the April sunburn?

  8. RUN
    good 4 mi 00:40 10:06 pace

    Feeling good this morning!

  9. RUN
    good 4 mi 00:41 10:14 pace

I think how chipper I am on mornings I run before work throws people for a bit of a loop.

Way to go! I think I will have to try getting back into that habit again now that the sun is out so early.

Well this was on the treadmill (it was COLD this morning and I'm a baby), but I do love the extra energy I have on morning workout days. Plus the fact that you have to run isn't weighing on you during the work day.

Yes, it was cold this morning. I've been doing my 30 days of biking rides before work and today's was a pretty short one because the cold/wind was making my eyes water. But I find when it's still dark out when I wake up in the morning, all I want to do is stay in bed.

Haha my coworkers can now tell the mornings I work out because I'm much more pleasant to be around ;)

      Nice run!

  10. Ooh, a 5k near my apartment that includes a Twolves ticket... might have to think about that.

  11. RUN
    5 mi 00:50 09:55 pace

Outside of getting smacked in the face by the wind a few times, felt fantastic!

    • Hyedi

The wind was kind of a b**** today -- but was good running weather otherwise! Nice pace!

Whoops, forgot to post my run from this morning!

  13. RUN
    good 3.5 mi 00:36 10:24 pace

Not bad for a treadmill run, though wearing my (sweaty) glasses while working out is never fun.

  14. RUN
    5 mi 00:50 10:03 pace

Long run we never got around to this weekend. Great night for it but a touch too crowded around the lakes. Must get back into the morning run routine!

  15. RUN
    3.5 mi 00:34 09:44 pace

Overdressed but felt great otherwise. Weirdest sight was a guy running barefoot but *carrying* Vibrams. Also, I am sure this run will cancel out at least the first 5 minutes of the deep frying them... read more

Hah, I do that occasionally (barefoot carrying vff) trying to build up the callus on my feet to eventually be 100% barefoot ;)

Well, I found out a good way to look like a huge dork at the gym is to accidentally wear the exact same outfit as your husband and run on the treadmill next to him.

    • John A.

It's mostly just in your own head. When I was going to the gym I don't think I would have ever noticed that. Unless by wearing the same outfit you were forced to run on the same treadmill...

  17. RUN
    good 3 mi 00:31 10:24 pace

Surprisingly pleasant for a treadmill run. We just couldn't bring ourselves to go out in the drizzly 39 degree weather.

  18. RUN

Perfect night for a run around Lake Harriet.
