  1. RUN
    tired 3.41 miler 3.41 mi 00:29 08:36 pace

The cooler weather was most welcomed this morning. My legs finally had some zip in them, however the breathing was still lagging behind. Hopefully the running only improves from here.

  2. RUN
    tired 3.41 miler 3.41 mi 00:31 09:05 pace

Right hip/IT band was stiff. Left foot felt sore, but better. Mostly just felt out of shape.

  3. RUN
tired Disneyland Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:24 10:57 pace

The right IT band was a bother from the start. It didn't feel better until about a mile or 2 to go. Looks like I need to take some more time off.

  4. RUN
    tired Disneyland 10k 6.2 mi 00:53 08:37 pace

Ran at a harder pace for the first 5k and then cruised through the second 5k. I felt out of shape and the right IT band got sore.

  5. RUN
    injured 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:31 08:54 pace

Man I felt so out of shape. The right IT band started bothering me again. The left foot was a sore again. So not much has changed. The Dumbo Double Dare this coming weekend is going to be a struggle.

  6. RUN
    injured Moose's Tooth Marathon 26.2 mi 06:18 14:25 pace

Within the first mile, I was having trouble breathing. At first it was just a discomfort then it progressed to being a nauseating pain. I had to slow it down to make it as tolerable as possible. I ... read more

  7. RUN
tired San Francisco Marathon 26.2 mi 05:29 12:34 pace

Energy levels felt really low running through the Golden Gate Park. Met Claire early in the race and Ted in the beer garden. Thank goodness my friend ran with me for the first 20 miles.

  8. RUN
    alright 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:30 08:38 pace

Well, the legs are finally coming around. However, I think my endurance is only adequate to run a 10k and I still have at least 10 lbs of injury weight that I want to lose.

  9. RUN
tired Craft Classic Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:20 10:40 pace

It was a decent and challenging course. The first half of the course was pretty nice and easy, just running on the 56 bike trail until we reached the 5 freeway. We then head down El Camino Real and... read more

  10. RUN
    tired 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:30 08:44 pace

Things are getting better as long as keep it to the short stuff.

  11. RUN
tired Team RWB Eagle Charge 7 miler 7.12 mi 01:12 10:03 pace

If it weren't for a great cause, I would've just sat at home. The right IT band was giving me problems at the beginning, but it loosened up a bit and was tolerable for the rest of the run... read more

  12. RUN
    tired 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:31 08:55 pace

  13. RUN
injured Bay pf Fundy Marathon 26.2 mi 05:20 12:12 pace

Same old injuries. Sore left foot and sore right hip. Lots of hills… up and down the whole way. Beautiful course. Watch time was 5:19:58.

  14. RUN
injured Seattle Rock n' Roll Marathon 26.2 mi 05:18 12:07 pace

Left foot wasn't as sore, but still had trouble with the right hip. Felt really out of shape.

  15. RUN
injured Hatfield & McCoy Marathon 26.2 mi 06:16 14:20 pace

Woke up really late. The race about 10 minutes after it had already started. Watch time was 6:05:23. Hilly and hot, but a very scenic course.

  16. RUN
injured San Diego Rock n' Roll Marathon 26.2 mi 05:48 13:17 pace

Felt sluggish from the first mile. Then the left foot and right hip started getting sore. I had to start walking from about mile 5.

  17. RUN
injured Laguna Hills Memorial Day Hal... 13.1 mi 02:10 09:56 pace

Still having problems with the left foot and the right hip. First 10k went ok, but it was tough after that to the finish line.

  18. RUN
    tired 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:30 08:39 pace

Somebody get this leprechaun off of my back! I felt really out of shape. The left foot felt ok until about mile 2. The right hip also felt ok, but did not feel 100%. Where are my cookies? :)

  19. RUN
injured Tinker Bell Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:28 11:18 pace

I almost took a DNS on this race. I had a lot of discomfort in my right hip just from walking around. Also apparently I had food poisoning from dinner on Saturday night. I decided to give it a go s... read more

      Kimiko P. Congrats

Congrats on finishing under such horrible circumstances! RICE that right hip immediately. I think I strained my right hip after the marathon on Saturday. I'm walking on crutches right now. Congrats on your legacy status! That's awesome!

Thanks. I hope your hip feels better! I'm really wiped out by the food poisoning to really care about the hip. In fact, the hip felt better after the race, but I still have trouble going up and down stairs.

    tired Tinker Bell 10k 6.2 mi 00:53 08:32 pace

I felt really out of shape. By mile 3, I was starting to struggle. Still dealing with the usual sore left foot and sore right hip. The right hip was really bothering me during the last two miles.
