    The cooler weather was most welcomed this morning. My legs finally had some zip in them, however the breathing was still lagging behind. Hopefully the running only improves from here.

    Right hip/IT band was stiff. Left foot felt sore, but better. Mostly just felt out of shape.

    The right IT band was a bother from the start. It didn't feel better until about a mile or 2 to go. Looks like I need to take some more time off.

    Ran at a harder pace for the first 5k and then cruised through the second 5k. I felt out of shape and the right IT band got sore.

    Man I felt so out of shape. The right IT band started bothering me again. The left foot was a sore again. So not much has changed. The Dumbo Double Dare this coming weekend is going to be a struggle.

    Energy levels felt really low running through the Golden Gate Park. Met Claire early in the race and Ted in the beer garden. Thank goodness my friend ran with me for the first 20 miles.

    Well, the legs are finally coming around. However, I think my endurance is only adequate to run a 10k and I still have at least 10 lbs of injury weight that I want to lose.

    Same old injuries. Sore left foot and sore right hip. Lots of hills… up and down the whole way. Beautiful course. Watch time was 5:19:58.

    Woke up really late. The race about 10 minutes after it had already started. Watch time was 6:05:23. Hilly and hot, but a very scenic course.

    Felt sluggish from the first mile. Then the left foot and right hip started getting sore. I had to start walking from about mile 5.

    Still having problems with the left foot and the right hip. First 10k went ok, but it was tough after that to the finish line.

    Somebody get this leprechaun off of my back! I felt really out of shape. The left foot felt ok until about mile 2. The right hip also felt ok, but did not feel 100%. Where are my cookies? :)

      Congrats on finishing under such horrible circumstances! RICE that right hip immediately. I think I strained my right hip after the marathon on Saturday. I'm walking on crutches right now. Congrats on your legacy status! That's awesome!

      Thanks. I hope your hip feels better! I'm really wiped out by the food poisoning to really care about the hip. In fact, the hip felt better after the race, but I still have trouble going up and down stairs.

    I felt really out of shape. By mile 3, I was starting to struggle. Still dealing with the usual sore left foot and sore right hip. The right hip was really bothering me during the last two miles.
