    tired 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:29 08:26 pace

Out 14:31, back 14:42. I felt heavy and very sluggish. Could be the pastrami chili cheese fries that I ate yesterday or the high humidity. I even got yelled at by construction workers because I ign... read more

  2. RUN
    tired 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:29 08:27 pace

Out 14:39, back 14:35. Held a steady pace. Pretty good run considering I had a bout of diarrhea last night... I wonder what was it that I ate.

  3. RUN
    tired 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:28 08:13 pace

Out 14:17, back 14:10. Mid 60's with humidity in the high 80's. I hate humidity.

  4. RUN
tired Seattle Rock n' Roll Marathon 26.2 mi 04:42 10:44 pace

Left foot still sore, but feeling better. Legs felt good until they started feeling heavy by mile 8. As usual, the legs were cramping up on the out and back to Mercer Island.

  5. RUN
tired Casper Marathon 26.2 mi 04:53 11:11 pace

The altitude got to me by mile 2. It got pretty warm near the end of the race. Left foot felt okay, but still sore.

  6. RUN
injured San Diego RnR Marathon 26.2 mi 04:44 10:51 pace

  7. RUN
tired Laguna Hills Memorial Day Hal... 13.1 mi 01:52 08:32 pace

Pretty high humidity 85%. The legs quit on me after reaching mile 9. Left foot is still a bit sore but getting better. The calves were cramping up on the final stretch.

  8. RUN
    injured 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:28 07:58 pace

Out 13:47, back 13:47. Goal was to hold an 8 min/mile pace for the run. The left foot is getting better but is still sore. Weighed an even 160.0 lbs this morning. So now there's a 20% chance t... read more

  9. RUN
    tired 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:28 08:10 pace

Well, that was a lousy run. Out 13:54, back 14:22. Both feet were feeling sore on the way back.

  10. RUN
blah Tinker Bell Half Marathon 13.1 mi 01:49 08:19 pace

Went out a bit too fast. Paid for it in the last three miles where I averaged almost 9 min miles.

  11. RUN
    alright Tinker Bell 10k 6.2 mi 00:47 07:35 pace

23:15 for the first 5k, 23:52 for the second 5k. I had a stitch during the last two miles. Ouch! Left foot felt okay for the most part.

    tired OC Marathon 2015 26.2 mi 04:32 10:23 pace

  14. RUN
    tired Athens Marathon 2015 26.2 mi 05:00 11:26 pace

There's a reason why I don't run too many marathon doubles. They hurt! My right quad was so sore during the final 10k. I barely made it under my goal of 5 hrs.

  15. RUN
    alright Martian Marathon 2015 26.2 mi 04:25 10:07 pace

I took it somewhat casually since it was the first of a marathon double. I went through the first half in 1:55:15. It got pretty warm at the end and I cramped up a bit.

  16. RUN
good Hollywood Half Marathon 2015 13.1 mi 01:42 07:46 pace

Ran again as Superman. I set a new half marathon PR... two years in a row on this course. I'm starting to think that this non-certified course is short.

(7:00, 7:38, 7:45, 0:50) Was hoping to hold a 7 min mile for the 5k, but after the first mile, I knew that was impossible. I had no power on any incline. Then on the final stretch on the track, I c... read more

Heat 3: 24:18 (7:50, 8:04, 8:24) It started off with both calves cramping up. I kept taking deeper breaths and hoping that the calves would loosen up. They eventually did and I was able to finish f... read more
