  1. RUN
tired Laguna Hills Memorial Day Hal... 13.1 mi 01:52 08:32 pace

Pretty high humidity 85%. The legs quit on me after reaching mile 9. Left foot is still a bit sore but getting better. The calves were cramping up on the final stretch.

  2. RUN
    injured 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:28 07:58 pace

Out 13:47, back 13:47. Goal was to hold an 8 min/mile pace for the run. The left foot is getting better but is still sore. Weighed an even 160.0 lbs this morning. So now there's a 20% chance t... read more

  3. RUN
    tired 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:28 08:10 pace

Well, that was a lousy run. Out 13:54, back 14:22. Both feet were feeling sore on the way back.

  4. RUN
blah Tinker Bell Half Marathon 13.1 mi 01:49 08:19 pace

Went out a bit too fast. Paid for it in the last three miles where I averaged almost 9 min miles.

  5. RUN
    alright Tinker Bell 10k 6.2 mi 00:47 07:35 pace

23:15 for the first 5k, 23:52 for the second 5k. I had a stitch during the last two miles. Ouch! Left foot felt okay for the most part.

  6. RUN
    tired OC Marathon 2015 26.2 mi 04:32 10:23 pace

Both of my feet had been sore leading up to the race. The right foot got better, but the left one was still pretty sore. I was able to get through the first 10k with the 3:35 group, but then I had ... read more

  7. RUN
tired Kentucky Derby Marathon 2015 26.2 mi 04:21 09:56 pace

Both of my feet were still sore from last weekend's double marathon. The weather for the most part cooperated but there was a pretty good downpour about 2 hours into the race. Fortunately the ... read more

  8. RUN
    tired Athens Marathon 2015 26.2 mi 05:00 11:26 pace

There's a reason why I don't run too many marathon doubles. They hurt! My right quad was so sore during the final 10k. I barely made it under my goal of 5 hrs.

  9. RUN
    alright Martian Marathon 2015 26.2 mi 04:25 10:07 pace

I took it somewhat casually since it was the first of a marathon double. I went through the first half in 1:55:15. It got pretty warm at the end and I cramped up a bit.

  10. RUN
good Hollywood Half Marathon 2015 13.1 mi 01:42 07:46 pace

Ran again as Superman. I set a new half marathon PR... two years in a row on this course. I'm starting to think that this non-certified course is short.

  11. RUN
alright Santa Anita Derby Day 5k 3.1 mi 00:23 07:29 pace

(7:00, 7:38, 7:45, 0:50) Was hoping to hold a 7 min mile for the 5k, but after the first mile, I knew that was impossible. I had no power on any incline. Then on the final stretch on the track, I c... read more

  12. RUN
    alright Carlsbad 5000 heat 4 3.1 mi 00:24 07:50 pace

Heat 4: 24:20 (7:41, 7:57, 7:57, 0:44) I kept the effort as even as possible. It was getting pretty toasty.

  13. RUN
    blah Carlsbad 5000 heat 3 3.1 mi 00:24 07:50 pace

Heat 3: 24:18 (7:50, 8:04, 8:24) It started off with both calves cramping up. I kept taking deeper breaths and hoping that the calves would loosen up. They eventually did and I was able to finish f... read more

  14. RUN
    good Carlsbad 5000 heat 2 3.1 mi 00:23 07:24 pace

Heat 2: 22:57 (7:17, 7:23, 7:34, 0:42) Still put out an honest effort. Calves were starting to cramp as I crossed the finish line.

  15. RUN
    good Carlsbad 5000 heat 1 3.1 mi 00:22 07:05 pace

    Heat 1: 21:58 (6:39, 7:11, 7:30, 0:37) New PR.

  16. RUN
    good 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:27 07:54 pace

Out 13:58, back 13:24. Felt something in the right calf and foot, but it was manageable. Went out at a comfortable effort, then slowly accelerated on the way back. Not sure how hard I should push i... read more

  17. RUN
    good 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:27 07:56 pace

Out 13:53, back 13:35. I was just going to run at whatever pace felt comfortable but it turned out being more of a fartlek. Everything was feeling pretty good so I pushed the pace a little here and... read more

  18. RUN
    alright 11.19 miler 11.19 mi 01:42 09:08 pace

First run since the LA Marathon. This hilly course is pretty good at predicting on how I'll do on a non-hilly half marathon. A 1:42 would be a new half marathon PR. Both feet are still feeling... read more

  19. RUN
    tired LA Marathon 2015 26.2 mi 05:19 12:10 pace

With record high temperatures, my friend and I took it easy as a super hero pub crawl. It was brutally hot running it in a Batman costume. At the very least, I did not suffer leg cramps during the ... read more

I'm a little jealous of your pub crawl! I only had the shot of beer they were offering at mile 21. Nice job!
