  1. RUN
tired New Hampshire Marathon 26.2 mi 04:56 11:18 pace

The right ankle started feeling sore at around mile 4. The left foot felt sore the most. It was my first marathon running with a Garmin watch. It helped with running by feel because I actually didn... read more

  2. RUN
tired San Jose RnR Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:00 09:11 pace

Everything felt ok for the first 5k or so. Then it just got too warm for me. The right foot, ankle, knee, and hip all took turns feeling achy or a little sore. The left foot is still feeling sore a... read more

  3. RUN
    tired 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:30 08:42 pace

First run with the Garmin. Felt tired. Goal was to just finish at around 30 mins. Right hip is feeling a bit sore after the run.

  4. RUN
    tired Dodgers 5k 3.1 mi 00:37 11:50 pace

It took a while for me to recover from the 10k, so I was stuck near the back of the corral. Took it slow, but tried to jog here and there. That was pretty brutal to run a 10k and a 5k the day after... read more

  5. RUN
    tired Dodgers 10k 6.2 mi 01:00 09:37 pace

Legs were trashed. It was really hot and humid. I was getting a headache. Not a good idea to run a 10k the day after a marathon.

  6. RUN
tired Wabash Trace Marathon 26.2 mi 04:54 11:12 pace

The course was beautiful and mostly shaded, but my legs felt really heavy. The race course ended with some decent rollers that reduced a lot of us to a walk.

  7. RUN
tired Disneyland Half Marathon 13.1 mi 01:58 09:02 pace

The sore right ankle led to a sore hip, but I got it done in under 2 hrs and kept the legacy.

Congrats, Emil! That's a solid half marathon, especially given the aches and pains. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

  8. RUN
    tired Disneyland 10k 6.2 mi 00:50 08:02 pace

Wow. That felt a lot harder than it should! It was more humid that I'd wanted.

  9. RUN
tired ET Full Moon Midnight Marathon 26.2 mi 05:51 13:23 pace

Was very stressed out getting to this race. Everything was delayed. As usual, I was tired for the entire race and gassy. Was sleep running for the first half of the race. This was a personal worst ... read more

  10. RUN
    tired 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:30 08:33 pace

Out 14:46, back 14:49. Slowly getting used to this "heat". Felt sluggish at first, then felt better in the middle, and finished feeling tired.

  11. RUN
    tired 11.19 miler 11.19 mi 01:51 09:54 pace

Thank goodness for the marine layer. After running in Alaska, that was too warm for me. Otherwise it was an ok run. I didn't fall down. :)

  12. RUN
    blah Moose's Tooth almost a Marathon 25.2 mi 04:33 10:50 pace

I had a fun time. The left foot was still sore, but getting better. I would've easily finished the race under the 5 hr goal, but it would turn out that the course was about 1 mile short. :(

  13. RUN
    tired 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:29 08:30 pace

Out 14:37, back 14:48. I hate running during the summer, but I'm sure it'll help with the next couple of races.

  14. RUN
    alright 11.19 miler 11.19 mi 01:48 09:40 pace

I guess there's a first for everything. About an hour into my run, I had zoned out. I didn't pick up my foot high enough to clear an uneven sidewalk, so I slide belly first safe into 2nd ... read more

  15. RUN
    tired 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:29 08:21 pace

Out 14:19, back 14:35. I started at about 7:30 am. Still felt a little too warm for me.

  16. RUN
    tired 11.19 miler 11.19 mi 01:52 10:01 pace

Everything is starting to feel better, but I still can't handle the "heat".

  17. RUN
tired San Francisco Marathon 26.2 mi 05:15 12:00 pace

Felt so out of shape. The big toes were sore before I had gotten to the halfway point.

  18. RUN
    tired 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:30 08:33 pace

Out 14:57, back 14:40. Still feeling a bit sluggish. Foot has been feeling better.

  19. RUN
    tired 11.19 miler 11.19 mi 01:53 10:06 pace

I'm such a wimp when it comes to running in warm and/or humid weather. I had to walk a few times near the end since I was starting to get dizzy.

  20. RUN
tired Mad Marathon 26.2 mi 06:17 14:23 pace

Wow! What a beautiful course and super hilly! It was also pretty warm and toasty. Should not run this marathon without proper fitness! I cramped up pretty badly at mile 17 and pretty much had to wa... read more
