  1. RUN
tired Las Vegas Rock n' Roll Marathon 26.2 mi 04:54 11:13 pace

I had a big bonk at mile 11, but I ate a couple of GU's and drank most of my Powerade, which allowed me to recover enough to finish the race within the cutoff. Not sure that I would do the Ana... read more

  2. RUN
blah Avengers Half Marathon 13.1 mi 01:50 08:25 pace

Super windy for this inaugural race. Most of the mile markers were blown down or ended up in the wrong spots.

  3. RUN
alright Madison Marathon 26.2 mi 04:26 10:08 pace

Another cold race. A pretty hilly but scenic course. I was able to keep running/jogging for almost the entire 26.2 miles.

  4. RUN
alright Indianapolis Monumental Marathon 26.2 mi 04:26 10:09 pace

The temps were in the sub 30's for most of the race. Right foot started hurting around mile 9 so I had to slow it down. Definitely was not fully recovered from the LA RnR Half Marathon last we... read more

  5. RUN
alright LA RnR Half Marathon 2014 13.1 mi 01:48 08:13 pace

I attempted to run a 1:42, but could not hold on to that pace after mile 4. The climbs seemed a bit easier this year.

  6. RUN
tired Duke City Marathon 2014 26.2 mi 04:40 10:40 pace

Pretty flat course except for a couple climbs around the halfway turnaround. 90% of the course was on a fairly scenic bike path. The elevation got to me a little bit, had a headache around mile 14.

  7. RUN
blah Long Beach Marathon 2014 26.2 mi 04:27 10:11 pace

Still feeling pretty tired, but more than 30 minutes faster than last week's marathon. So far my fastest Long Beach Marathon.

  8. RUN
tired Lisbon RnR Marathon 2014 26.2 mi 04:57 11:20 pace

What a scenic run from Cascais to Lisbon, Portugal. Too bad I felt really sluggish from the very first step.

  9. RUN
alright Susan G Komen Race for the Cu... 3.1 mi 00:25 08:00 pace

Felt very tired, but the legs responded pretty well given the tough trail marathon yesterday.

  10. RUN
tired Saddleback Mountain Goat Mara... 26.2 mi 07:21 16:49 pace

Left Achilles was sore. I had a lot of trouble coming up Trabuco. Trail running is so much different from road running.

  11. RUN
blah LA Dodgers Foundation 5k 3.1 mi 00:23 07:26 pace

The left Achilles has been bothering me, so I didn't go all out for this 5k. It was hilly tour of the infamous Dodger Stadium parking lot.

  12. RUN
    blah 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:29 08:14 pace

Out 14:18, back 14:12. Just a short run to see how the legs are feeling. Both Achilles are still very tight, but loosened up a bit after about half a mile. Looks like I won't be running very h... read more

  13. RUN
    alright 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:31 08:59 pace

Out 15:38, back 15:27. Both Achilles were a bit tight otherwise everything was okay.

  14. RUN
    tired 11.19 miler 11.19 mi 01:49 09:46 pace

Started my run a little too late. That was a toasty run. I was ready to walk the last couple of hills.

  15. RUN
blah Sioux Falls Marathon 26.2 mi 04:43 10:47 pace

Felt sluggish from the get go. Made it to mile 20 feeling relatively okay, but then had legs cramps that took about 3 miles to get rid of before the legs could run again.

  16. RUN
good Disneyland Half Marathon 2014 13.1 mi 01:49 08:20 pace

Splits: 5k: 24:45, 10k: 50:41, 15k: 1:17:10. Thank goodness for the cloud cover, but it was hot and humid. I just kept pouring the water on my head and plugged away. I finished right where I wanted... read more

      Great Performance:

Way to reach your goal for this race! Nice job and that humidity couldn't have been easy to run in.

Splits: 7:03, 7:21, 7:32, 7:38, 7:55, 7:49, 1:16. The legs are starting to move faster. I was looking to see if I could pull off a 45 min 10k, but just got tired during the second 5k. I was only of... read more

    tired 11.19 miler 11.19 mi 01:48 09:39 pace

The right knee wasn't as achy as before and everything felt pretty good. The heat is just so draining. I hope next weekend will be a bit cooler. After today's run, I have a good idea on h... read more

  19. RUN
    tired 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:30 08:37 pace

Out 14:59, back 14:50. Too much beef and alcohol last night. Had trouble breathing. It felt like I was trying to run a minute per mile faster.

  20. RUN
tired AFC Half Marathon 2014 13.1 mi 02:04 09:29 pace

Way too humid. Was getting light headed at mile 4. Had to slow way down. Might not want to run this race ever again!
