injured Star Wars The Dark Side Half ... 13.1 mi 02:25 11:03 pace

I tried to put out an honest effort during the first 3 or so miles, but I was having issues with the right hip and the left foot. So after taking a photo break at the Emperor's chair, I had to... read more

  2. RUN
tired Star Wars The Dark Side 10k 6.2 mi 00:56 08:58 pace

The first 2 miles went pretty well, then I got a terrible headache from the humidity. I had to walk quite a bit during the next 3 miles to cool down.

  3. RUN
injured Hollywood Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:01 09:16 pace

First mile felt fine, but I took it way too fast at 7:17. I found a groove at about 8:30 min pace, but that only lasted until mile 7. The next 6 miles were a struggle where the pace was barely 10:3... read more

alright Autism Speaks Walk 2.19 mi 00:43 19:50 pace

My first walking event. It was both cool and sad to see so many people at the event. Life is hard enough without having to go through it with autism. I got to meet several of the ABC7 news anchors.

  5. RUN
injured Rose Bowl Loop 3.13 mi 00:27 08:36 pace

I ran the Rose Bowl Loop before the Autism Speaks Walk to see how my left foot and right hip is feeling. The foot is still sore, but I could still run.

  6. RUN
injured New York City Half Marathon 13.1 mi 01:59 09:05 pace

Right hip flexor was weak from the get go, but held up for about 8 miles. Then the left foot and right hip started feeling sore.

Damn, wish I had known you were running. Would have looked for you and said Hi. Hope you had a good time even if the body had other ideas.

  7. RUN
tired San Diego Half Marathon 2016 13.1 mi 01:56 08:51 pace

Everything fell apart after mile 8. After completing all of the climbing up to Hillcrest, I had nothing left to run the last 2 downhill miles.

Thanks! I think I should probably retire from marathons and stick to running short distances. :)

  12. RUN
injured Run to Remember LA Half Marathon 13.1 mi 01:53 08:36 pace

I ran about 9 solid miles, then the left foot got really sore and the pace dropped dramatically.

  13. RUN
injured Star Wars Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:15 10:16 pace

  14. RUN
    alright Star Wars 10k 6.2 mi 00:49 07:50 pace

  15. RUN
injured Walt Disney World Marathon 26.2 mi 05:20 12:12 pace

The left foot was pretty sore and the right hip flexor was not working. All I had was a short stride to work with, so I knew it was going to be a long day.

  16. RUN
injured Walt Disney World Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:13 10:11 pace

It was pretty humid. I took what the legs would give me which wasn't much.

  17. RUN
injured Walt Disney World 10k 6.2 mi 00:55 08:48 pace

It was a wet race from start to finish. From the very first step, the right leg was just not right. Something's wrong with the right hip.

  18. RUN
alright Walt Disney World 5k 3.1 mi 00:24 07:44 pace

Felt pretty good. I put out an honest effort.

  19. RUN
injured New Year's Race Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:54 13:15 pace

The half marathon did not go well at all. My left foot was trashed from the 10k. I was only able to run with a decent stride for about 1 mile. I started walking as soon as I hit the first steep cli... read more
