  1. RUN
tired Deja Vu Marathon 26.2 mi 05:25 12:24 pace

I had a stomach ache early in the race. Didn't know if it was Hammer gels or the new organic Gatorade that I was trying. During the second half, the stomach ache went away, but the head was sw... read more

  2. RUN
tired Avengers Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:17 10:28 pace

Left foot was sore from yesterday and the right hip was also not feeling too hot. Started taking walk breaks pretty early at about mile 2. They changed the course again. I like this version of it.

You need to give yourself a rest. Don't make these injuries me. I've been out for 6 months.

  5. RUN
tired Rock n Roll Los Angeles Half ... 13.1 mi 02:18 10:32 pace

Sore left foot and right hip again. Ran out of gas after the first 5k. Had calf cramps during the last 2 miles. Nice rolling course.

  6. RUN
    injured 3.41 miler 3.41 mi 00:30 08:53 pace

With no running at all for about 2 weeks, the run started off really good. However as the run went on, the left foot became just too sore for my liking. I backed off on the pace and just jogged bac... read more

  7. RUN
tired Long Beach Marathon 26.2 mi 05:21 12:15 pace

Ran at a harder effort for the first 10k and shut it down from there. Still working on the endurance. Things are starting to feel better. The concrete beach path was pretty brutal again. It got too... read more

  8. RUN
    tired Dodgers 10k 6.2 mi 00:57 09:11 pace

Running the hills of Dodger Stadium and Elysian Park... while it wasn't quite as hot as last year, it still felt warm most likely due to high humidity. I had to take a total of 11 walk breaks ... read more

  9. RUN
tired Disneyland Paris Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:20 10:39 pace

The course was full of zig zags and turns until we got outside of the park. I liked the course. Felt so out of shape after the first 3 miles. I might just be finally over my two nagging injuries.

  10. RUN
    tired Disneyland Paris 5k 3.1 mi 00:26 08:28 pace

Course measured a bit long for me. Garmin showed an 8:08 min/mi pace. Ran second half with Paula Radcliffe and her daughter.

  11. RUN
    tired 3.41 miler 3.41 mi 00:29 08:36 pace

The cooler weather was most welcomed this morning. My legs finally had some zip in them, however the breathing was still lagging behind. Hopefully the running only improves from here.

  12. RUN
    tired 3.41 miler 3.41 mi 00:31 09:05 pace

Right hip/IT band was stiff. Left foot felt sore, but better. Mostly just felt out of shape.

  13. RUN
tired Disneyland Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:24 10:57 pace

The right IT band was a bother from the start. It didn't feel better until about a mile or 2 to go. Looks like I need to take some more time off.

  14. RUN
    tired Disneyland 10k 6.2 mi 00:53 08:37 pace

Ran at a harder pace for the first 5k and then cruised through the second 5k. I felt out of shape and the right IT band got sore.

  15. RUN
    injured 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:31 08:54 pace

Man I felt so out of shape. The right IT band started bothering me again. The left foot was a sore again. So not much has changed. The Dumbo Double Dare this coming weekend is going to be a struggle.

  16. RUN
    injured Moose's Tooth Marathon 26.2 mi 06:18 14:25 pace

Within the first mile, I was having trouble breathing. At first it was just a discomfort then it progressed to being a nauseating pain. I had to slow it down to make it as tolerable as possible. I ... read more

  17. RUN
tired San Francisco Marathon 26.2 mi 05:29 12:34 pace

Energy levels felt really low running through the Golden Gate Park. Met Claire early in the race and Ted in the beer garden. Thank goodness my friend ran with me for the first 20 miles.

  18. RUN
    alright 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:30 08:38 pace

Well, the legs are finally coming around. However, I think my endurance is only adequate to run a 10k and I still have at least 10 lbs of injury weight that I want to lose.

  19. RUN
tired Craft Classic Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:20 10:40 pace

It was a decent and challenging course. The first half of the course was pretty nice and easy, just running on the 56 bike trail until we reached the 5 freeway. We then head down El Camino Real and... read more
