  1. RUN
    good 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:27 07:56 pace

Out 13:53, back 13:35. I was just going to run at whatever pace felt comfortable but it turned out being more of a fartlek. Everything was feeling pretty good so I pushed the pace a little here and... read more

  2. RUN
    alright 11.19 miler 11.19 mi 01:42 09:08 pace

First run since the LA Marathon. This hilly course is pretty good at predicting on how I'll do on a non-hilly half marathon. A 1:42 would be a new half marathon PR. Both feet are still feeling... read more

  3. RUN
    tired LA Marathon 2015 26.2 mi 05:19 12:10 pace

With record high temperatures, my friend and I took it easy as a super hero pub crawl. It was brutally hot running it in a Batman costume. At the very least, I did not suffer leg cramps during the ... read more

I'm a little jealous of your pub crawl! I only had the shot of beer they were offering at mile 21. Nice job!

  4. RUN
    tired 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:28 08:12 pace

  5. RUN
tired Lower Potomac River Marathon ... 26.2 mi 04:32 10:22 pace

Watch time was 4:31:39. There was snow on the ground and it started off pretty chilly, but it got a bit sunny and warm for me as the day went on. Early in the day, there were some icy spots on the ... read more

  6. RUN
alright LA Chinatown Firecracker 6.2 mi 00:49 07:56 pace

Wow, that was a tough course! Pretty much the first three miles were steep lung burning climbs. Here were my splits: 7:52, 8:51, 8:18, 6:58, 7:22, 9:51 (8:12)

  7. RUN
    alright 3.46 miler 3.46 mi 00:29 08:16 pace

These shoes are horrible. No wonder i haven't run in them for a while! 14:26 out, 14:10 back. Just ran to see what kind of legs I'll have for tomorrow.

  8. RUN
good Mercedes Benz Marathon 2015 26.2 mi 04:15 09:44 pace

It was cloudy and there was light rain for most of the race. It was a nice two loop course.

  9. RUN
tired Lost Dutchman Marathon 26.2 mi 04:33 10:25 pace

A bad idea, but this was a last minute race. Registered on Friday then drove out on Saturday to run the race on Sunday. The right calf was not completely healed. It started to bother me by mile 3is... read more

  10. RUN
    tired Sean O'Brien Marathon 26.2 mi 07:13 16:32 pace

Tried not to do anything stupid that would further damage the right calf. It felt fine for the most part, but it was difficult running up or down knowing that one of your calf was not 100%.

  11. RUN
injured Surf City Marathon 26.2 mi 04:34 10:27 pace

Was still getting over a cough, but everything was going pretty well through mile 8. Then I felt something in my right calf. I'm pretty sure that I had strained my calf because I couldn't... read more

  12. RUN
blah New Orleans RnR Marathon 26.2 mi 04:28 10:14 pace

I was feeling really under the weather coming into this race. My nose was running like crazy. Thank goodness it stopped for a bit just before the race so the legs could do some running. My right le... read more

  13. RUN
blah Star Wars Rebel Challenge Hal... 13.1 mi 01:48 08:16 pace

Everything was okay until about mile 8... the right leg started giving me problems. I pretty much had to jog the last few miles as the IT band was getting pretty tight.

  14. RUN
good Star Wars Rebel Challenge 10k 6.2 mi 00:47 07:32 pace

I ran hard but not too hard. Legs responded pretty well considered having just done the Dopey Challenge.

  15. RUN
tired Dopey Challenge Marathon 26.2 mi 04:32 10:24 pace

It started out ok, but then I got very tired at mile 8, just like last year. I tried to stay relaxed and just run at a pace that felt comfortable. I did better than I had expected. I thought it wou... read more

  16. RUN
good Dopey Challenge Half Marathon 13.1 mi 01:47 08:09 pace

The weather was much nicer and was starting to warm up a bit. I started off with some sub 8 min miles to see how the legs felt and kept with it since it felt fine. I did start to tire out a bit in ... read more

  17. RUN
    good Dopey Challenge 10k 6.2 mi 00:48 07:40 pace

Still cold, but was much more tolerable without the wind. I made sure to get further up to the front so I wouldn't get stuck behind walkers.

  18. RUN
    good Dopey Challenge 5k 3.1 mi 00:24 07:34 pace

It was cold and windy. It felt great once we started running. A bit crowded at the beginning but was able to get past the crowd in the first mile.

  19. RUN
tired New Year's Race Half Marathon 13.1 mi 01:55 08:46 pace

A pretty hilly course... I like the newest rendition. Shoes might be a bit big since my ankles were feeling achy again.

  20. RUN
tired Operation Jack Marathon 26.2 mi 04:39 10:38 pace

Concrete 5, me 0. For the fifth year in a row the concrete course was very difficult for me to run on. It kept hurting my right knee.
