    These shoes are horrible. No wonder i haven't run in them for a while! 14:26 out, 14:10 back. Just ran to see what kind of legs I'll have for tomorrow.

    Tried not to do anything stupid that would further damage the right calf. It felt fine for the most part, but it was difficult running up or down knowing that one of your calf was not 100%.

    Everything was okay until about mile 8... the right leg started giving me problems. I pretty much had to jog the last few miles as the IT band was getting pretty tight.

    Still cold, but was much more tolerable without the wind. I made sure to get further up to the front so I wouldn't get stuck behind walkers.

    It was cold and windy. It felt great once we started running. A bit crowded at the beginning but was able to get past the crowd in the first mile.

    Concrete 5, me 0. For the fifth year in a row the concrete course was very difficult for me to run on. It kept hurting my right knee.

    It was a soaker, rain from start to finish. Throw in some strong gusts of wind as well. Otherwise I ran a pretty good race according to my standards.
