I am signed up for the Chicago marathon. This year I will run my first and second marathon. I am so excited and scared. I can't wait!

I think I like them, and they played well with my orthotics. I just don't run enough trails to justify this purchase.
Also, I wish I could keep this pace up for longer than 3 miles. -

I have blisters from my orthotics. Even with body glide and my favorite socks. meh. I'm not sure what to do.

Sounds like you may have too much correction in the inserts. You may want to try customized.

I was getting pain in my achilles after playing soccer, so I got custom orthotics made by my doctor. I think that maybe I should try a neutral shoe or use super feet in my runners and keep the orthotics for my cleats. I don't have any issues with them when I wear them for soccer.

Some sort of miss-match with the built-in arch support between the two shoes seems to be happening. A different approach on the runners seems to be in order.

Trying to find the right combo of shoe and orthotic for longer runs. My normal shoe with my orthotic is over supportive and making my IT bands ache. I might try the ds trainers next.

I was giving up on my run for today, but my other coaxed me to the gym and once I started I was determined to finish 3.

I ran a mile to warm up and cool down then did one mile with bleachers. It helped with my form but man I felt slow after running down.

I felt no foot or achilles pain.

Resting the achilles. My doctor got approved to make my orthotics. Happy feet! I can't wait for running better and faster after training this year.
