I am so sad but I have to take a hiatus from running... I need to allow some injuries to heal. I don't know why I am so bother by this, but I need my legs in the further, so I am scaling all the way back.

Smart decision, my friend. Best to take a step back to move 2 steps forward. Find other activities that will allow you to stay in the game though; don't totally shut down.

I know exactly what you mean. It's good that you realize that you need to scale back because I didn't realize it until it was too late and I was having a hard time simply walking. I pushed way to hard and made things worse than they should have been! I'll keep you in my prayers for a speedy recovery!!!

I have had injury after injury! I hear ya. I feel like every time I start to reach new heights something else comes up. I've learned though when I try to run through an injury or issue, I only end up with another problem. Hit the bike or arc trainer and concentrate on your weight strentghening and get well.

Sorry to hear this, Seymone, but you're doing the right thing by listening to your body. Running has always been two steps forward, one step back for me. The good news is that it's possible to make adjustments (shoes, form, etc.) that will minimize injuries. That learning process takes awhile though.
