Thanks Michelle! Unfortunately, B, I won't be able to make RE on Saturday - my family is going out of town so I'm going to have to run long by myself again. But at least it's at the beach, and it's probably a good thing I can't make RE or I wouldn't want to come back to NY!

I am, but I'm going to miss RE. I'm going to run my 16 miler solo...again...but at least I'll be at the beach and out of the city for it. It's probably a good thing I'm not going to be able to run with the group. It'd suck that much more having to come back to NYC otherwise.

You'll be fine.. trust your training! That said, if Chicago hadn't gone well for me, I'd be targeting a winter marathon too. As it is, NYCM is for fun. So if NYCM doesn't go your way, consider it a warmup to FLM. But you might just be feeling the doubts that pop up during taper since your training seems to be on track for a good run!
