Man, it was like 50 shades of HOT out there, but not as bad as Tues. Ok this was an exercise in speed and cognition. It is called an even steven workout and here is how it goes: 10 min warm up, 10 min @ MP, 2 min recov, 8 min @ HM, 4 min recov, 6 min @ 10k, 6 min recov, 4 min @ 5k, 8 min recov, 2 min hard sprint, 10 min recov, 10 min cool down. I don't have a garmin and my iphone app only measures splits by miles not time so I had to go completely by feel on this. I did NOT do the 10-min c/d at the end because I had just done 10-min recovery, plus I was really thirsty and more or less at my house, so I figured I was cooled down enough. My girls Denise R. and Jamie O. did this workout on Tuesday, and were right....it was kind of fun.
