Decided to do my intervals tomorrow when I could run in the daylight, so did a mini-tempo tonight. Coach said not to have a particular time goal in mind, but to try run fast but relaxed, so I didn't look at my watch at all and tried to just run each mile a little faster. I did Mile 1 in 9:25, Mile 2 in 8:50, Mile 3 in 8:05, and Mile 4 in 8:15. I am a bit disappointed that I ran mile 4 slower, but all in all a good effort. I really hate running on sidewalks in the dark, especially ones with patches of ice. No booty shorts today...I had to bundle up.
