I had mentioned to a few people earlier in the week that I'd be ecstatic if I ran today in under two hours and look what we have here! The first seven and a half miles went very well, running under, some way under, my ideal pace, but then the dreaded tummy monster struck around mile eight and I struggled until the end. I was even so glad to be done with the race that I forgot to stop my watch at the finish!

Just for kicks I looked up my only other half marathon race time (from the 2006 La Salle Bank Classic) - 2:31:15. My dad said that in four years, I need to run a sub 1:30 half - ha!

It was great running the same race as the bro and having my parents there cheering us on! Saw lots of amazing running people, and it's gotten me even more excited for the running season.! :)
