I've been in a running slump lately, and I needed something to get me out of it. Badly. I didn't even want to go to the race this morning since I hurt my foot/ankle and I entered the dreaded spiral of not training and then feeling out-of-shape when training. Honestly, I just wanted to finish today, and I left remembering why I love to run. I don't care about my pace. I'm just excited that I'm mentally back on my game and ready to train!!!
