I was freezing my legs off out there, but I finished my first 15 mile long run feeling better than when I ran the 13.1 Los Angeles half marathon a couple weeks ago. I went much slower here, and stopped frequently. The first 5 or so miles I ran on trail, but because it got dark I had to do three laps around the paved rose bowl loop to finish everything up. I did one minute walks at every 9 to 10 minute interval to make it easier on my legs. Other than my legs not really being used to the work, and the freezing cold, I really enjoyed this run.

Great run! Can't always be too speedy. I think I'm gonna try the minute walks on my next run too!
