Had a long day, so haven't gotten a chance to do an update about today's run until now. This race was a little tougher than others, I think, because I was not really in a mood to race today. I didn't get much food or water before the race either. I had planned to run another seven miles since I was already at the beach, but work-related stuff came up afterward. More work stuff tomorrow, so not sure if the rushed mood would put a damper on tomorrow's race. Not sure at the moment where I would fit the extra long run miles in around tomorrow's race though. I'd either have to get up extra earlier to run, before leaving for the race, or I'd have to wait until later in the afternoon, by which time I'm not really sure if I can count the two runs as one. I don't know if it's that important really.
As for today's race itself, I think I overdressed. It didn't rain as much as I wanted it to either. Yeah, I dunno what's wrong with me.

Good run regardless! If you had run the 10k earlier that morning, you probably would have loved the downpour of rain we got.
