I'm beside myself! Wow, I did feel like ralphing a little when I finished, but I managed to beat my PR goal. Shooot... I was 4th in my division too... whatever that is, haha. Small crowd, about 300 people maybe. UPDATE: My friend measured the distance and it's actually only 3 miles. I've been wanting to get down to a comfortable 8 min mile pace, but it's kind of hard thinking about it as comfortable at this point.

W O W W O W W O W ! ! ! Elizabeth this is a smoking fast pace - Ferrari fast; freakn' fast - I'm in awe and would kill for that pace (huge smile). Congrats on a fantastic race and a spectacular finish!

@Peter, I have no idea how that pace was calculated. They must have rounded down because I wrote in 24:28. But my math is pretty bad. Hey, you've held some pretty fast paces on long runs so I'm sure you could get this pace in just a 5K race.

nice job! i recently ran a race that was advertised as a 5k but measured to be 2.6 miles. what?!! we'll get a proper 5k time soon!
