This time we ran with Jason's sister who has a slightly faster pace than us. I think it was a pretty good run. I'm still not satisfied with the mileage, but I'm starting to think we'll be okay on race day. My legs feel strong and I'm hardly tired after 8 miles. I'm sure it'll hurt on the first 13 miles, but I won't think of it as a race anyway. I think however that I'll invest in some mid-run fuel - maybe I'll tuck a packet of energy blocks in my pocket. For water I'll stick to the stations and try to get hydrated at least a half hour before the race.
The run itself today - letsee... pace felt faster overall. I did not fall into the easy, play-it-safe, snails pace that I usually take. My left knee started hurting at about mile 6, but it wasn't bothering and it disappeared after awhile.

You will do great at Disneyland! It's just around the corner! Glad to hear the knee cleared up.
