      How long did you have the Yaktraks? I actually had the same problem last year after about a month of heavy use. I tried to contact the company and they never responded! May want to try another brand or make your own screw shoes (look it up!).

      I've not had them very long at all.. got them last year for Christmas so I've only done one season with them. One of the rubber supports broke. :(

      That stinks about the yaktraks, they're not cheap. Maybe you guys do this already, but I heard you should put them on your older shoes and just leave them there. My brother in law is a marathoner and puts in tons of miles and has used knock off yaktraks from Menards as well as screwing in bolts in an older pair of shoes.
