      Glad your mom knew how to resuscitate a baby. That was the one thing I lived in fear of when my daughter was young. My pool was a fortress- with an alarm on the gate!

      So, each day of life is a gift.

      wow- I did some funny stuff as a teenager too. Best thing was that we would go around to business signs, the ones with removable letters, and rearrange the letters into lewd sayings. he he he. i still get a kick out of it.

      Thanks for sharing, Lisa. Besides the obvious “Don’t mess with my family” parenting instinct, I have a hard time reigning myself in when it comes bad, distracted or just inconsiderate drivers I meet while running. I read something (I can’t remember where) that helped. The author wrote, “Before you react, think about the drivers’ reaction to the NEXT runner he/she encounters.” That makes it a little easier for me to suck it up.
