After a nice long walk through Burnidge Woods - getting some very necessary sunshine - I headed to the basement for weights. Three sets each: one arm dumbbell snatches, dumbbell single-leg deadlift... read more

Been awhile since I kickboxed... I've been working out in the fresh air all summer. But after a frustrating workday, this felt pretty good.

Quick ride after a long day of sitting... I made the mistake of wearing the same old heavy cotton tee I'd worn all day, which became a sail as I rode south into the wind. Coming back north, it... read more

      Beth Nice Job
      Nice Job:

Loved that you stopped at the Measuring Cup! It is such a convenient little place to stop. The lemon bar sounds good! I love sweet & tart desserts.

I've passed the Measuring Cup a hundred times but never been inside. I will be going back! All their desserts are homemade (including a wide selection of cookies and pies), and the coffee was excellent. And it's about 6 miles from home, so nice break.
