not my best race. i was distracted by the memorial day tributes and forgot to take my inhaler before we started. i attempted to take it while running and it took a few miles to catch my breath.
the one really steep hill i had to walk and stopped in the middle to take my inhaler again. last 3 miles were downhill and FAST. i had hoped to pull a sub 50 but with the heat and my breathing issues i can’t complain.
it was nice to have the bf’s family out on the course to cheer us on and spend time with them this weekend.


Sorry it was a tough one. You have sub 50 in you--I know it. I'm still chasing mine, too. Hate those days when I forget my inhaler!

well-i did get it back in april but had hoped to do it again. just wasn’t the perfect day. that’s okay! for some reason the heat bothers my asthma more than cold weather.

Oh shoot--sorry I missed that! I'm the opposite--cold is worse than hot. Must be the allergens. You'll have another race, and it will be better! At least it was fun!
