MCM #12, Marathon #30 done. MCM has never been a really good race for me and this year was no exception. I was going good till around 16 then started to lose it. Held on for the remaining miles.... read more

Super job finishing 30!! Yeah Eric. It was tough out there today. You are a champ for crossing a difficult finish line. So glad you found Dale too. Wish I had seen you as well.

How about this? Lets all have a great race on Sunday!! Each of us will have their own definition of great but whatever it is lets do it.

Dale- I appreciate you being out there. Its a lot of fun playing "Where's Dale" during the run and it helps the long miles seem just a bit shorter. Thanks for all the running around youre gonna end up doing.

Now everybody rest up, hydrate and try to chill........

This mornings pace was due to rested legs, cool temps, and beautiful autumn conditions on the neighborhood trails. I have never really run MCM to well. Only ever finished under 4 hours one time. I guess it’s a combination of the crowds, sensory overload, logistics, and I don’t know. Just never really had what I consider a good race there. It’s fun, just not ever an A race for me

Nice one. A great day to be on the battlefield. I'll take a little mist over the H+H we had recently.

I thought it was going to be partly cloudy today? Although a mist isn't too bad for a 10 mile run. Good job on the run.

Mike- The hash was great. Dean and I got good reviews on the course. Good cold beer afterwards. Only downside is the mass quantity of chigger bites I got on my ankles when we were setting the course. There are so many, and they itch so bad, it feels like my ankles are on fire
