I'm not putting a time down because this was a hill run training in prep for Utah. I had 5 miles on the calendar and I just wanted to throw in rolling hills as well. Needless to say, the hills... read more
Again I focused on perceived effort and breathing (and running without walking of course). This run was to focus on pace i.e. what I would like my marathon pace to be. I would like to be able to ho... read more

I've already test rode a bunch of bikes and I know exactly what I want I'm just poor and am debating if I should hold off or finance it. I've been trying to look for used bikes in my size but apparently they either don't sell many in my size or people my size hang on to their bikes for a LONG time.

I gotta say, this morning SUCKED! I really dislike running in my neighborhood for some reason so I was already not looking forward to my run solely for that reason. Then add in some hills and humid... read more
Coach said to do an easy 40 minute run. On top of that, I had two additional goals that I was trying to accomplish.

Having a coach is SUCH a great asset. In 15 months of working with mine, I dropped my half PR by almost 20 minutes.

Oh and I forgot to mention the hills. Apparently one of the hills on the trail is called "the silencer". I mean, it wasn't *that* bad but it wasn't easy.

No big deal. Now I'm pooped. Lets see if I can keep this momentum going for the rest of April!
I wrote a blog post and I registered for my 2nd marathon. eeek!
