@Tessa R. I wanted to run by feel since my legs were pretty beatup from the 8 days in California cycling challenge but I though I could put the Garmin on my time of day since I still wanted to see the data but I guess a higher power knew I was not going to stick to the plan so I did put on the heartrate monitor but not teh Garmin and the backup was in my purse and not in the car, purse was at home only took my wallet. So I guess that means No.

    great Stage 6-8DC 14.03 mi 01:00 14.0mph pace

Refueled and went for stage 6
Today's TT is short but it finishes with a tough hill climb. No KOM's or sprints, just individual racing against the clock.

  10. VELO
    great Stage 5-8DC 17.03 mi 01:08 15.0mph pace

Stage 5 is the closest thing this tour offers in the way of an easy day. After an early, moderate climb, a flat course favors the sprinters. There are 3 intermediate sprints and only a single KOM.

Great job Elizabeth! Checked out the link. Looks really interesting. Do you do all your rides on the trainer?

@Carolyn M most of my rides except for the long one will be on the the trainer just like my running on the treadmill jsut because I do it so early in the morning. Plan is to get outdoor on the weekend or afterwork during the week once this challenge is over but I hate changing tires. I really love trainer road and I have seen significant change in my riding from using the program.
