Swift Cantrell park trail (started around 9 or 9:15am, so it was a bit hot out but not terrible): I only slowed once to fix iPod issue about 1/4 mile into my 5th lap, and I replicated racing conditions (outdoors, some hills, water hand off at each mile marker) -- since my mom is retired, she sat at the start/finish area to hand me my water bottle and then retrieved it about 100 feet down the path to get ready to hand off at the start of the next lap, simulating race day situations! Did I mention that my mother is the best?

Thanks... and yes she is!!! The run went well, especially after I completed the second lap!!!
