good Wimpole 10K (by Hoohaah Events) 10.03 km 00:59 09:23 pace

What a beautiful day for an off-road 10K race around the Cambridgeshire countryside at the National Trust's Wimpole Hall. Even the *enormous* tail-back (caused, I think by an over zealous Nati... read more

Eager to get a long run in before this Saturday's Ickworth 10K. I'll probably just do one more easy run before then. This one's a beautiful route, if a tad long for me.

Tail end of last weeks virus so still too tired to run :-( Tres annoying as it was such a glorious day and the grounds of Ickworth House (where the run was) are beautiful. Ho hum.

I don't run enough at the moment, especially with the Ickworth 10K coming up so it was great to get out.

great Longer Austin run with Richar... 13.49 km 01:32 10:55 pace

Wow. I could probably count on two hands the number of runs I've done that are longer than 8 miles ever. Now I've done two 8 1/2 mile runs in three days! I was worried that coming to SXSW... read more

great Longer Austin run with Richar... 13.32 km 01:25 10:13 pace

Great to do a long run again - it's been ages (though not as far as all our friends doing the Cambridge half-marathon). Richard and I are really enjoying our morning SXSW runs in Austin, thoug... read more

good Austin run to Richard's hotel... 9.27 km 00:58 10:08 pace

The run along the river in Austin (why is it called Lady Bird Lake?) is lovely and it is becoming a tradition that Richard and I run it before the SXSW day begins. This time though our hotels are m... read more

blah Gateshead morning run 2.81 km 00:22 12:20 pace

I knew I'd need to keep this short as I had a train to catch, but despite it feeling warm the path was still icy so I didn't make it to the Dunstan Staithes which was the plan.

The run was good but the best bit was seeing a bullfinch perched in a flock of long-tailed tits on the hedge just as I came back in to Hardwick

good Edinburgh loop from Niddry St... 4.63 km 00:29 10:09 pace

I really like this run. Wonderful varied scenery from city to looking up at the hills. Be great to come back but that's it for these two trips to the ECA.
