good First run since July 31st San Francisco Marathon 1.31 mi 00:12:52 09:50 pace

a slow run to test my body after six weeks off of running due to Plantar Fasciitis. Heel didn't hurt. I did feel a lot more of the impact than I have with cycling obviously, and my HR was so much more than when i'm on the bike. My left ankle (opposite of the one with PF) hurt a little but I started to walk a little and it got better after that. Going to ease back into it.

Good luck with your comeback. I've been recovering from a heel injury (slightly different) that shut me down for several months. It's frustrating! I hope your PF is completely gone!

ankles are probably weak from not running, make sure you add in some running specific muscle strengthening.

Slow and steady. Even 11 or 12 minutes per mile pace is a good idea to let the foot get back in shape.

Glad to see you are able to get back out there. Take it slow and give your legs some time to get back into running form.
