good Run For The Heroes - Leg 6 4.62 mi 00:39 08:22 pace

Not how I wanted to run my last leg, but I was foolish to think I could do better in the 90° heat after being awake for 34 hours.

Right now we're making our way the last 15 miles to the finish, where we'll run the last half mile or so with our team captain. It's been a helluva experience and a privilege to take this challenge on with the rest of the Miracle Runners. Even better that we could do it for The House of Heroes.

You ran a very strong race Drew. It was awesome to be out there with you and seeing you finishing your legs! Congrats to you and your team. Btw, how old was that kid? (still bitter that he passed me on that one leg). :)

@Mike: Tim's only 23. Would you believe he's not in running shape? He was faster in college. :)

I was faster in college, too!... when I had hockey skates on my feet! For an old guy, I feel ok knowing I gave him a pretty good battle most of the time.
