One of these days I'll execute a proper recovery. It wasn't going to be today, though. The first few miles started out right, but things progressively got faster as I loosened up. By the last mile I gave in and had fun with it. Amazed at how good everything feels today after yesterday's long run. So grateful. Hope you enjoy your Wednesday!

Maybe you are just getting faster and this is your new slow?

That would be nice, Ann, but I'll be happy if it means I'm getting more durable.

It's hard to keep it slow, sometimes it's just easier to settle into a comfortable rythym. It's working for you.

I'm with ya man... hard to slow it down when the dogs want to run. Especially dogs in the woods in the middle of the night on an isolated central Georgia road...

You sir are too hard on yourself. A mile or so of quicker stuff on the back end of a nice recovery shake is fine. You are faster and more durable too though, so there's that too!
