good Hotel treadmill 5.04 km 00:30 09:35 pace
I ran the first what I thought was 0.5 miles and started thinking, I'm not moving very fast. Silly me, the treadmill was set on km not miles. Why would someone in London do a thing like that. Si... read more

Perfect temps this morning for a run. Set out and faced tons of foot traffic until I reached Kensington Gardens. Intended to just run to Buckingham Palace but I felt so good I kept going. When I... read more

good 2 Mile Pole 4.12 mi 00:39 09:20 pace
This is the kind of weather that makes running fun. Cut the grass then went out for a run before settling in for an afternoon of football. Sadly, the run was the best part of the day. 0-2 with m... read more

Interupted at the halfway point (my list of Saturday honeydos was long) but got back on 30 mins later to finish up. Felt good to have a nice distance weekend run again.

good US 10k 6.21 mi 01:01 09:46 pace
For the second year I ran with my youngest daughter. She loves running and I love running with her. The weather was awesome and we made terrific time on a really tough course.

Stu, you and your daughter ran this race last year at a 12:16 pace. Wow! What a difference a year makes! Well done, and I bet it was amazing to run that course with her.

RUN
alright Monon 4.1 mi 00:37 08:56 pace
Set out to set a fast pace. Realized at the turn I needed to slow down or I'd never make it home. Really proud of my pace tonight. Great temps make all the difference.

Welcome back Stu. It is clear that you have been running, as you wiped the floor (or should I say, the gravel) with me at the 5k, but good to see your posts here! What you say is so true - the more you put your own basic needs first, the more you can give to others.
