great Recovery Monday Run #1 6 mi 00:47 07:51 pace

Met up with Mark W. and Joe B. for an easy six miler on the Montour Trail in Bethel Park. It was nice to get a run in with the guys. Our schedules have been so busy that we have not been able to get together for runs as much as we did last summer. It was another beautiful morning. I would hate to wish the summer away, but the cool crisp fall mornings really has me looking forward to the change of the season. I am mixing things up and running a 1 mile race Friday night in downtown Pittsburgh. I haven't put much thought into this race and will not do anything special for it. I am in marathon mode so a low 5:00 mile would be great. Have a great week.

Nice recovery run. You sound like me this morning thinking about Friday. I'm just gonna show up and run. I'm thinking I'll be in the mid to upper 5's, but I'm not too concerned about it.

nice run Dave. I have to agree even though I like a nice dip in the pool after a run, these cooler temps have been getting me ready for the fall as well!

Nice start to the week David - good to log some miles with the boys. Don't sell yourself short on Friday D. I think you can lay something pretty special down.

Your 80+ mile weeks should set you up just fine for the mile on Friday - good luck! Good easy start to the week.
