I met up with Aaron P H. for our midweek medium long run. Today's run called for 15 miles which meant we had to get out extra early. The weather was much better out today with a temp in the low 60's. Overall I never really felt loose and grinded out the 15. I think it is just the point of the training cycle where all of the miles are catching up to me. This is why I love training. Tired now = results later!

    Yeah sometimes these midweek MLR's just click and feel good, and sometimes they're just a thankless chore. But all good aerobic credits in the bank :)

    I know what you mean about grinding out the runs right now. It's definitely at that point in the training cycle. But as you said, tired now = results later. Good work.

    Well, thanks for the confirmation that I should feel like I'm grinding things out on the training cycle now - nice to see someone else feeling that way. Still a solid 15, and if we didn't reach the point of having to grind to get them, we wouldn't reach the same level of fitness.
