I tried to beat the heat and get out early this morning for a 18 miler with 10 at marathon pace. (6:25-6:30 pace) Waking to a temperature of 74 degrees and high humidity I decided to take a mile off of the warm up and cool down and go for 16 miles over all and really focus my effort on the MP miles.
This run ended up being a really good run. The majority of the run was in the shade since the sun was just coming up. This kept my core temperature nice and even. Here are the results of the workout.
