Felt great on this 10-mile out and back route. One thing about running 5 miles in a straight line away from home - there is only one way to get back! Had a little left shin tightness near the beginning, but it loosened up after mile 5. Ran my fastest mile in mile 7 at a 9:01. Very happy with this result. Two weeks out from race day!


Very nice run! I'm partial to the out and back approach for the same reason.
