Lax in my posting, but did 3 labored run/walk miles on the treadmill on the gym. I am eating too much and exercising too little. Need to kick myself in the butt to be ready for March.

Finally got out after all the healing and bad weather to complete my victory lap. It was hard to run through all the ticker tape and the cheering, but I managed.

great Green Stride Half Marathon 13.11 mi 01:55 08:48 pace

Holy rhymes-with-split! I need to trust in my training more, as I didn't think I had a PR in me - not even close. Not only hit that, but was within 21 seconds of my goal time, which I would have it... read more

Way to hang tough and finish even with a walk! There's no shame in walking, especially after several hard fought running miles. Taper and rest this week and you'll be fine with your half!
