tired Treadmill 3 mi
Lax in my posting, but did 3 labored run/walk miles on the treadmill on the gym. I am eating too much and exercising too little. Need to kick myself in the butt to be ready for March.

RUN
good Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr 2.53 mi 00:27 10:48 pace
Left the house at 12 deg F with -2 wind chill. Huffed and puffed, then suffered a very tight shin.... Walked home and had some cocoa... :-)

tired Physical Phatness 2.01 mi 00:18 08:59 pace
Trying to get off my duff and pick up where I left off. A little phatter than my half marathon weight a month and a half ago. No time like the present though!

Nice Job:
Glad to read your run post! Stay with it. Plan a run or two for us in Boston next week!

great Victory Lap 1.85 mi 00:16 08:52 pace
Finally got out after all the healing and bad weather to complete my victory lap. It was hard to run through all the ticker tape and the cheering, but I managed.

RUN
great Green Stride Half Marathon 13.11 mi 01:55 08:48 pace
Holy rhymes-with-split! I need to trust in my training more, as I didn't think I had a PR in me - not even close. Not only hit that, but was within 21 seconds of my goal time, which I would have it... read more

injured Beyond Natick Center and Back 11.17 mi 01:56 10:21 pace
Set out on this 12-miler with high hopes, but knew pretty quickly it was going to be a struggle the entire way. Ran the first 7 at a good clip, but had to keep stopping to walk soon after, and fina... read more

You're an Inspiration:
Way to hang tough and finish even with a walk! There's no shame in walking, especially after several hard fought running miles. Taper and rest this week and you'll be fine with your half!

Agree with Leo. Think about where you were before you started running, Dan! You're complaining about running 12 miles slow now :)

tired Old Man River 2.68 mi 00:26 09:52 pace
Abbreviated "i'm an old man" run on my birthday. Apparently still a bit wasted from my 10-miler this weekend, so this was more like a recovery run. Still, got it in, and am setup for anot... read more

great Natick and Back 10 mi 01:35 09:27 pace
Felt great on this 10-mile out and back route. One thing about running 5 miles in a straight line away from home - there is only one way to get back! Had a little left shin tightness near the begin... read more

Very nice run! I'm partial to the out and back approach for the same reason.
