      A lesson from my one and only half-marathon: find a steady pace that you can keep at for a while. Maybe we'll meet at the Mermaid - I'm doing the 10k. Good luck. You'll be fine.

      Great job, Evelyn! I thought the drop off situation was so nice & convenient too & also love this year's medal. My biggest complaint right now is the headache I have from squinting for 13.1 miles, haha! I need to remember a hat & sunglasses next time too! Congrats! And happy recovery :)

    So.... it kinda hurts to breathe a bit when I run in the cold.... I have a half marathon this Sunday when its supposed to pour. Advice? Suggestions on how to make that run less arduous?

    K, not feeling it in the calves as much anymore.... which is a great thing, I think. Still kinda hard keeping my pace when going up hill, but I definitely make up for it on the way down.

      I often allow myself to walk the hills. It doesn't take me that much longer to get up them and I have more energy at the top : )

      Thanks Deborah! I think I'm going to start getting some miles in at the gym too. Not a huge fan of running on treadmill even though that's how I started running, but we gotta do what we gotta do in the winter.
