Hi Daily Mile peeps! I'm alive!
Stress fracture recovery continues. I somehow managed to run Seawheeze half marathon on the 15th. 2:37 - 10 minutes off my PR so not bad considering stress fracture and 6 weeks of no training. It was more the lack of training that caught up with me, not the injury.
Foot is doing pretty good but not 100% (maybe 99%). I did try a little run this morning following Pfitzinger's "return to running after stress fracture" plan. Barely any running today - walked for 10 minutes, than 5 min run, 5 walk, 5 run plus whatever extra walking needed to get home. That seems to have gone alright so continuing on with this program.
