Helped my son move out of our house and relocate to Massachusetts this morning. He's my only so my wife and I are now "empty nesters" ..... wwwoooowwwww!!! He knows that he can return to "visit" whenever he wants. :-)
This run started at about 5 pm when the temps had dropped slightly, though still very warm. Everything felt loose and easy so ran a bit faster than usual. Tried a r/w 3:30/0:30 ratio which felt like a bit too much running given the heat. I will probably shorten the run ratio until the weather cools. I ran without Ipod or Iphone and focused on running as quietly as possible. This actually helped me maintain good form, not sure why.
