      My treadmill speed is always slower than my outside speed. I struggle at a 13:00 pace inside!

      It's really bizarre. I felt like I was at the same pace outside as inside; I would run at what felt comfortable, I would count a beat in my head that felt the same, etc. But the average pace and even the tracking on my GPS was showing MUCH faster outside than what feels the same on the treadmill. So that's why I was wondering if having the treadmill set at 4.5 mph may mean that my short legs are really running a 5 mph. Darn machines.

      Seth's slower on the treadmill, too. For me I swear it's a boredom/running in place thing. Watching the TV on the treadmill makes it worse. LOL

    So the 3 Mile Family Walk & Run turns out to be almost 4 miles ... no biggie. Except the cold (for Houston) made my asthma crazy, and my shins were killing me. Still, it was a LOT of fun!
