Sounds awesome, but was this an outdoor swim? What's the water temp?

We have an outdoor heated 50m pool nearby, my favourite local pool. The water temp must be about 23 or 24C so perfectly heated, steam rises from it on days like today. It is a great place to swim :-)

Glad you're getting over your tummy bug. At some stage I will have some triathlon questions for you if you won't mind answering them. Not today though, too much to get through.

Triceps complained. Still sore from Tuesdays plank to pushup set, today was little relief. I hope this makes me stronger :-)
I'm sure it will Donna, i'm sure it will. Good work!

I wanted to swim but this was a class about going slow and focusing. Good to loosen my legs a bit from yesterday's run, but I don't think it counted for training.
Warm up and cool down for my treadmill run. Focus on knee alignment, and rpm.
Trying out new ankle bracing on both sides today. Aim is to improve ankle stability and foot ankle alignment on landing / push phases. Chose the gym over the park - better to keep an eye on things... read more

Sculling, kicking, 100s and then... Block starts! Haven't done those since I was 13! Super fun.
Tired arms but a great start to the weekend :-)

30 even minutes to test my knee. At an RPM of 80 it felt ok, perhaps a bit weak, but no funny feelings. Onwards, upwards!

Kick! My strength but felt hard after yesterday's race. Felt nice to be back in the water. Discovered a swollen knee when I was changing for class. Oops. I may have more pool time in my future!
Hope the knee is not serious. Good job in the H2O!
