Good run you got in, but you better police that left heel. Hope it doesn't cause you trouble.

good Mileage over migraine 10 mi 01:26 08:37 pace

This went way better than I expected it to go. I had to load up on OTC migraine meds just to get out the door, and still spent the first three miles dealing with headache, feelings of nausea, and h... read more

Clearly, my biggest impediment is keeping my head down. Apparently, I'm going to be greatly challenged in that effort, mostly because it goes against all that logic stuff I value so dearly. Yo... read more

Put a tennis ball between your chin and your chest and try ad keep it there while swimming. It's hard, especially while breathing. But it gets the point across about proper head positioning!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to give a nose plug a go, even though we're supposed to exhale through our noses. My theory is that my nose is usually so clogged because of sinus issues that it won't really change anything....

    Epically failed swim lesson 01:30

That was awful. I was, by far, the worst student in my class. I'm apparently not particularly ready to just relax and float. Apparently, I have a very powerful kick, except I'm currently ... read more

You hush that noise, bro. Your kick is so powerful, the bottom of the pool cowers in fear.

My toe would definitely disagree. That still hurts. I'm just going to keep telling myself it's bruised and let it go at that.

I didn't time the stairs today. My body wasn't really into the workout, so just doing the workout was enough for me today.

Oh, wow, I didn't realize you live up that way. Thanks for the kind words on the workout. I hadn't been that far north on the trail -- a couple of those hills are brutal.

Yep and I ran the trails at least 3 times a week. The trail is really nice. If you run all the way to D avenue it's pretty scenic. The fields at nature center are beautiful at sunrise.

The trail is really nice. I made it all the way up to where it turned away from the road for the last time and headed back into the KNC. I could totally see that being a beautiful run.
