    Great last day! Lots of hills, including Potter's Hill which at 19% grade (at max) might have been the most difficult thing I've ever done on a bicycle

      Dan -- I was on RAGBRAI and I had heard second hand that the grade was 10% at the steepest part -- but I agree with you, it felt like 19 (20%). I can almost always get up any mountain, but Potter's hill had me breathing hard at a HR of 184 -- which is unusual for me. But it was a great ride.

      I was riding with two people with GPS... one read 14% the other read 20% at max. It was advertised (and reported by the Register) as 19%... so I went with that. If you told me it was 10 or 12, I wouldn't be surprised. Either way... it was steep for a fat guy from Chicago! :)

    Hard ride today. Lots of rain, and wind (the bad kind), and hills. Maybe toughest day of the week. Biking in the rain is just not fun. Glad it's over.

    HILLS! crazy hot, crazy hills, crazy Arkansas. I was dying. This was an absolutely brutal 16 miles. Ten times harder than the 50 I did on Monday. I was at my limit.
