I am just not getting the workout I want to get on this thing. I can't do Hula Hoop every single time! I am enjoying the strength training and yoga, but I really enjoy working up a sweat....

    I hear you with the cardio. That was the same issue I had. A friend of mine does the run on the Wii Fit and thinks that 30 mins of jogging in place means 4.5 miles. She thinks she's ready to run 10ks, having not logged one real mile on a trail or otherwise.

    Yeah... it's not real running. She's in for a shock! I can't do the HH for very long because of my knees. It's great in short spurts... I am going to have to use it in conjunction with other workouts...

    I do credit the strength and yoga on wii fit for helping me cross train and get stronger when I started running. If someone is a diligent dieter or really way out of shape, I could even see it helping out with some weight loss. But it's not going to be more than a stepping stone towards a high level of fitness...

    I'm glad it's not just me. It's fun, don't get me wrong, and better than doing nothing... but not a sufficient workout for me.
