    Got in some crunches this morning... school daze! Small detour to the library. Plan to work in some upper body and more crunches this afternoon

    SO..... I've been in school for 7 weeks, and I walk to and from class MWF... I haven't been working out, and yes, I can feel it. No excuses! Just been too preoccupied with this last semester to focus on anything else...

    I am just not getting the workout I want to get on this thing. I can't do Hula Hoop every single time! I am enjoying the strength training and yoga, but I really enjoy working up a sweat....

      I hear you with the cardio. That was the same issue I had. A friend of mine does the run on the Wii Fit and thinks that 30 mins of jogging in place means 4.5 miles. She thinks she's ready to run 10ks, having not logged one real mile on a trail or otherwise.

  4. Been using the Wii Fit board the past two days... I really enjoy it, but I don't like the fact I have to weigh in each time (or I'm doing something wrong). I'm addicted to the Hula Hoop games!

  5. No chance of getting out for a run/walk until the temperature gets up and melts the ice and snow that has lingered here in Boulder!

  7. I'm SORE. SORE SORE SORE. It feels GOOD, but BAD at the same time. I realize now I can't shy away from squats because of the fear of tweaking my knee (it's happened before).

    High-five to my brother John for getting out for a run today! :D

      When I first started out, I looked on e-bay. I really do like the McDonald's 15 minute workouts, but if you do buy them from e-Bay or Craigslist, just watch the pricing.

      Emily, I am SORE! I was sore yesterday, and I am sore TODAY from my workout on Monday. The Monday workout had squats, which is an exercise I stay away from because I have tweaked my knee many times in the middle of performing one! I am NEVER this sore when I run. I guess it's a good bet that I need to incorporate these whole body workouts in my regular routine.

      I'm trying to stick to 30-60 minute workouts. I don't want to get burned out too quickly, so I've stuck to the 30 minute workouts I have here. I am definitely popping in a yoga DVD today, I am in need of stretching to get rid of this all over sore! I inquired about the Jillian Michael's series with Mary, and she recommended it (it's about 20 minutes).

  10. goodBoot Camp DVD 00:30

    30 minute boot camp workout, lots of cardio work such as running in place, jumping jacks, with a mix of lunges, kickboxing moves, etc. Great workout, gets my heart rate up.
