Yes it! Exciting, nerve racking. Just trying to stay focused on the the current week and day, and know that if I just follow the program and listen to my body the marathon will be the reward.

This is the right attitude my friend! Finishing a marathon, especially your first, feels friggin' great! And the post-marathon food binge is pretty great too, haha! =)

RUN
good Timed Mile 1.04 mi 00:07:39 07:21 pace
Ok so the GPS put me 0.0033 of a mile short of 1 mile, which is roughly 17 feet so I'll play fair and admit that I didn't beat 7:40 as my watch read 1 mile at 7:39.39. So I'll count it as a 7:41. ... read more

RUN
good Treadmill 3 mi 00:29 09:39 pace
Treadmill, going to be very warm today (Mid 50's) so I kind of threw a great day for an outside run out the window, but I was up early, at the gym and decided to just get it over with.

You can always go for a short run later today to take advantage of the mild weather. Or if you'd rather not run, just go for a long walk and enjoy the break from nasty winter weather! =)

I could... But the thing is that other than last Saturdays 9-miler in the snow, we really haven't had nasty weather. Which makes me very nervous for March and April. Sooner or later we are going to get what is owed to us by Old Man Winter.

In a way some of snow was nice... it packed nicely on the Portage Creek Trail, so a bit more like CC running, so that part was actually nice on the knees, even if it was a bit more effort.. But Kilgore Rd straight up sucked!
