  1. A brief update on my year so far:

6000km, 220 hours on the bike.

9 races: dropped, 1st, bunch, bunch, 2nd (1 rider got away), bunch (break of 13 got away), 3rd, 1st, 6th.

39 points. 11 more poin... read more

  2. 5th race. Someone attacked off the front at the start and stayed away, but I managed to take the sprint for 2nd. Riding the Dartmoor Classic on Sunday, and then hoping to get stuck into racing and ... read more

  3. Hmm, so it looks like I got a bit bored of uploading my rides to Strava, Garmin Connect and Daily Mile. Sorry, I still love you all! I'm mostly over here now: ... read more

App idea : account sync between Garmin, Runkeeper, Dailymile, Strava, Endomondo, Tribesport etc. So far I'm doing cross-posting on Runkeeper and DM in case one of them goes down.

Home with extra loop 27.74 km 00:57 18.1mph pace

Home, dumped laptop and bag, then a short extra loop around Nailsea.

  5. VELO
    Netsight 13.52 km 00:27 18.6mph pace

Finally hooked up a cadence sensor. As expected, my cadence is too low! Something to work on (along with losing another 5kg) over the winter. Spin spin spin spin spin.

  6. VELO
    Netsight 14.1 km 00:27 19.8mph pace

A tad quicker on the Allez than on the Langster!

  7. VELO
    Home 22.96 km 00:46 18.7mph pace

I love my riding my bike.

  8. VELO
    Netsight 13.68 km 00:35 14.6mph pace

Slow ride in on the Langster in the wet. Far too much traffic.

  9. VELO
    Home 25.72 km 00:52 18.5mph pace

Slight detour on the way home. Dry and 15 degrees!

Nice fast one to start the week.

    First 100 miler 163.28 km 05:41 17.9mph pace

Good fun, but my body feels a little broken.

  13. VELO
    Home 14.09 km 00:26 19.8mph pace

A little bit wind assisted. A fun ride to end the week (even though I was carrying a rather heavy backpack).

Hopefully I can get out for 100 miles at some point this weekend.

  14. VELO
    Netsight 13.83 km 00:32 16.2mph pace

Legs not quite there this morning.

  15. VELO
    Home 17.08 km 00:35 18.0mph pace

And back home again, in the dark. I didn't miss my lights!

The only good thing about riding at night time is the wind has usually disappeared.

    Castle Combe Summer Series - ... 36.15 km 00:52 25.9mph pace

Well you can't win them all! Finished with the bunch this time, so considerably better than when I was there at Easter. I need to work on a few things, but I'm happy with how it went. 41.... read more

    It's a bit quicker when it's dry.
