Start racing, regular sportives, 25m quicker in the Bristol Triathlon (goal: 2hr40m), complete a Full Ironman, and L'Etape du Tour in 2013.

Home, dumped laptop and bag, then a short extra loop around Nailsea.
Finally hooked up a cadence sensor. As expected, my cadence is too low! Something to work on (along with losing another 5kg) over the winter. Spin spin spin spin spin.
Heading in the right direction. :)

I spent 3 hours in Zone 2 and 2.5 hours in Zone 3. I'm hoping that with another 12 months of riding I'll be able to manage that pace (or slightly quicker) but with my heart rate in Zone 2 the whole way.

A little bit wind assisted. A fun ride to end the week (even though I was carrying a rather heavy backpack).
Hopefully I can get out for 100 miles at some point this weekend.
And back home again, in the dark. I didn't miss my lights!
The only good thing about riding at night time is the wind has usually disappeared.
Well you can't win them all! Finished with the bunch this time, so considerably better than when I was there at Easter. I need to work on a few things, but I'm happy with how it went. 41.... read more

Interesting stats ! Nice summary. Cycling on bristols closed roads was a treat yesterday.
