7 am: 37 degrees. Kensington/Island Lake . Fellow entrant of the BR 100 and pacer last year, Kevin and I rolled out there for an easy run and to see what condition the trails were in. Light rain for about the first 20 minutes gave way to a raw and windy day. About 3 miles on bike path to a spot where we could hop on the trail. Run 12 min/ walk 3 min pattern. Trails in much better condition given the snow and recent rain. Few patches of snow/ice that were better to be walked on than ran. Solid effort that was all about getting the trails shoes dirrty

Nice long run Mike. We're all eager to get back in the woods - it is so much nicer to run there. How did the Cascadia do in the wet conditions?

How's the mud? We have serious flooding here and it's still coming...

K.P. - the Cascadias rocked on the trails. No slippage and good bite

Farra - we ran by a few people..never met Kai and Jenni, but I bet it was probably them
