was supposed to head out to the 2nd annual get your hungover fat ass marathon today, but after looking at the proposed weather which had a high wind advisory with wind and rain, i thought that maybe i would do a 1/2 marathon at home before heading out to the Fat Ass and do another 1/2 marathon to get the distance in.
Taking a few pace cars (water) after some cowboy pops last night had be up and rearing to go with naught a fuzzy head. After my initial loop of around 12 miles I arrived back home and feeling in a groove, I decided to just fuel back up and head out for a solo marathon to start the new year off.
Cruised at different run/walk intervals throughout: 12/3 , 10/2, 9/1, 8/2 and felt amazing.

Wow, 26+ miles to start off the new year. Great run DD!! For a long run like this, do you stick in your MEP zone, or do you just go by feel and float around between MAP, MEP, & SAP?
