    Rough start, but it got better for awhile. Last half mile or so was mostly walking.

    Kept a steadier pace this time, and was able to maintain it the entire time. Lost some time, but I feel really good about it. I will try to push harder later this week

  4. Training for the bratfest 5k in Madison over Memorial Weekend. My first 5k since I was 17 (which I was forced to run for football practice). Gunning for a 30 minute time.

    Felt good. Still need to break the 10 minute barrier, embarrassed I let myself get so out of shape...but, I don't feel bad about a single burger or beer, so, I guess all is well

    First half mile went great, but I realized after I turned around that the backwind was pushing me along....of course the headwind sapped all energy out of me the 2nd half.

    Felt good to get the bike out. Though I need to get a new pedal crank. Who knew cheap Chinese bikes weren't any good.
