Ran with Jake for the first 4 - neither of us were "feeling it", so I took him home, but I wanted to get in a few more by myself to clear my mind a bit. LOTS of unplanned walking on this one - I just couldn't get my breathing down until the last mile. That last mile felt good. If I'd had more time and my hip wasn't whining, I probably could've gone on (or it just felt better because I knew I was almost done!) I was on the bugline, and honestly, at one point, I felt like I wasn't even moving. The gravel seemed to be moving with me - haha! For the next mile I entertained the idea of a moving walkway being installed on the bugline to help me out. Not very happy with how the run turned out, BUT... I got in some exercise, got a little vitamin D, burned a few calories, tired out Jake, and now I can eat birthday cake (daughter's 12th is today). Happy Thursday!
