good Rainy run 4 mi 00:42 10:32 pace
Was not feeling this run AT ALL - good thing it was an easy 75% effort run. It's going to take a bit for me to get used to running more than one day in a row.

You handled multiple runs before so will be fine. Are you back on the tri train again? Or any other races planned?

I never got off the tri train, but did move to the back of the car for a while. :) I took some time to put my life in order, and just started training for my first marathon. I'm doing the Austin Marathon in February. I have a full triathlon season planned, but no races until the end of April.

At the track ... in the dark. Was not expecting it to be so dark at the high school. Made for a slightly creepy run.

I wish I knew the name of the trail I was running... but it's nice and varies between gravel and paved. It was a pretty good run.

Except for the part about your separation (I'm sorry you have to go through this), your blog post made me laugh. "Don't judge." & "Heaven help me." You are too funny. But you've got some great goals and no doubt you will put in the work to accomplish them! It'll be fun watching your progress!

Starting Oct. 1, I begin training for my very first marathon. During my last couple of runs I've had a lot of soreness in my calves (during the last 3-4 months, I've changed my gait), so ... read more

Felt like I was running uphill the entire time... probably because I was. I will admit to walking up some of the hills.

Back and abs 01:00
Learned how to properly do a pull up from a rock climber friend.. then he put me through his modified back workout. Let's just say my muscles are really, really sore. That was no joke.

Two miles with Emily, who will be doing her first 5k in a few weeks. She's progressing nicely and I'm so proud of the hard work she's been putting into her running.
