Great to hear that your ITB feels good. Harti and I were saying that you look like you're dancing when you run, so light and dainty. :-) I love running in cold weather, it's so much easier and more pleasant than in hot. Just hard to get started and get out early because of the cold. :-) Loved running with this group! Christine, I believe it was -5 this morning.... REALLY cold! At least that's about as bad as it gets here in winter.

Be kind to your body. The ANU gym runs a class on Wednesday mornings devoted to rolling and stretching.

I ran on Monday...really bad idea. My pace for the MDC wasn't that much faster than my training pace, but my hips were really complaining and I cut it pretty short. Figured it was not worth injuring myself just to run x kms.

I love it! Mine is the Forerunner 210. It has everything I need yet is simple enough so that I am not overwhelmed with too much stats! I get pace, distance, HR data. I can lock in HR zones and set up intervals. The only thing I would want it to do is auto pause and lock in pace. BUT having said that, I would not go up to FR 610 which has all of that BECAUSE it's touch screen. I find touch screen - touch bezel watches a nightmare espesh when running w gloves...

Thanks, Melinda. I like running in the light rain, it's cool but not freezing cold and the rain gives me an urgency to get the workout done as soon as possible - it rained harder at the end of the interval part so decided to cut back on the cool down.
